D.N.A on your fingerprints is the same D.N.A in your body, so if at a crime there is a suspects blood, the forensic investorgators could take the D.N.A fingerprint and match it up with D.N.A in the suspects blood and find out who it is. The inventor was Sir Alec Jeffreys discorverd this on Monday 10th September 1984. He has won the Albert Lasker Award for Clinical Medical Research, The Royal Medal awarded by the Royal Society and the Great Briton Award.
